Gwyn Downey has been working as a professional music instructor and performer for over 30 years. She can't think of anything else that brings her joy every day.  She love's working with students of all ages and abilities, and gets so much satisfaction seeing them grow and develop their performance skills.​

Studio Location

Lessons take place in Gwyn Downey's home located near McDonald & Stevens Roads in Elgin.

Piano Lessons

Each student enrolls in a weekly 45-60 minute one-on-one private lesson in her home studio includes practical and theoretical instruction for children ages 7 years and older.  An annual recital is offered for students who desire to share their musical progress with friends and family.  Quarterly group lessons are offered with peers of similar age and level.  Students can also participate in the AiM Program.

 

Bassoon Lessons

In-studio lessons for beginning, intermediate and advanced levels.  Each weekly lesson is 45-60 minutes.  No matter your level of skill or experience, you'll gain a lot from taking bassoon lessons!!  For more information, click on the menu.
